1040return.com income tax return forms

Let 1040return.com help you out with your 1040 tax forms. To the uninitiated, taxes can be confusing, stressful and, without the right assistance, they can be expensive too. We can help you demystify the confusion of income tax return forms with easy, online filing. You will also get a free one-year subscription to our newsletter, which is chock full of advice, taxation law updates and tips for getting the most back. With that online filing you may be able to receive a tax return advance.

Supplements to 1040 tax forms

One issue that may come up in future newsletters is the AMT, alternative minimum tax, a set of regulations designed to reign in excessive deductions by the wealthy. While its intentions are good, the AMT is increasingly being applied to middle-class people. With exemptions being capped at just $62,550 for married couples and $42,500 for individuals, more and more average earners are paying the AMT. People taking credits for medical expenses and dependents, or even high state and local taxes, must calculate taxes in a traditional manner (through income tax return forms such as 1040 tax forms), as well as calculate according to AMT guides. They must then pay whichever taxation rate is higher. Until this law is reformed to cut out the middle-class from additional taxes, we all have to keep the AMT in the back of our minds each year as we approach the April 15 filing deadline.

Don't let this law discourages you from seeking any and all deductions for which you are eligible - those deductions may add up to an IRS tax refund. If you plan to itemize medical expenses, charitable donations and other possible deductions, you can get all your supplemental paperwork right here in once place.
